Mission:  I have no interest in war or war time politics. My main mission was to find a way to encourage and love on our soldiers and their families. During this time of great sacrifice it is  important to maintain relationships with loved ones. For a soldier to buy a greeting card in a foreign country is near impossible. Greeting cards are a way to stay connected and send love from a distance. It seems too simple but let me share a story with you. I first got involved with Soldiers Angles in early 2015. I made several hundred greeting cards and packed them up in a large box. Excited, I ran to the post office with my box. When I handed it to the postal worker to weigh for postage he glanced down at the address and noticed the name, Soldier’s Angels! Suddenly he was sharing my excitement and asked what I had in the box. When I told him it was filled with handmade greeting cards for our soldiers he shared that he had completed three tours in the military and two of them were in Afghanistan. He went on and on about how important it was to receive these greeting cards and care packages from Soldier’s Angels. Since then each time I bring up the name Soldier’s Angels to a veteran I get the same reaction. They are so grateful for these packages. You always hope that your donations are filling a real need so I knew I was on to something. This was an organization I could really get behind. So here we are in 2016 and I am in the midst of filling  more boxes. Last year I sent, love you, miss you, thinking of you, birthday and holiday cards for the soldiers to send to their friends and family. This year I plan on including personal handwritten notes in some of them for the soldiers to receive themselves. I'm asking family and friends to participate in this process with me. I have found that most people want to give back and just don’t know how. If your interested in participating please contact me. I am an artist by trade so I make the greeting cards but there are many other ways to give. Click on other ways to give link below  to learn how.
Be an Angel, help a Soldier. God Bless
